The terrain is a mix, but mostly heath-land, open land, pine trees and a large pond.

The paths are very uneven on some sections with plenty of roots to trip on.

There are several small alternate paths that loop around the area.

The pond is fairly shallow and can dry up in the hotter months. This does add some interesting options to our activities.

The area is fenced off before all the roads.

It is a contained smallish area, 1km sq

There is a much larger piece of common ground, nearby accessed through Viggory Lane (and across Littlewick Road) which could be accessed with careful control as that is a fast road.
